Ignoring employee issues won’t make them go away or help your employee be successful, they typically only get worse. You must deal with them properly, with the right communication to your employee that is clear, measurable and effective.
This Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) document will help your manager outline the employee performance issue and clearly communicate expectations to enable your employee to improve. This will also help document the PIP from verbal counseling, through formal written warning and possibly termination.
